How does a gentleman find true love?

i dont get it...love at first sight...i thot it was tru but i guess not...well im just depressed...so dont mind this question too much...sadness makes you ask dumb things i guess...i was really in love with this one girl and its been over for a long time...i still feel the pain...i would never take her back...its not like i still want to be with her...but i dont know how to change...change my relationship skills...how do i know if someone is right for me? i mean...i treat women to dinner movies...and quality time...what did i do wrong? am i too much of a gentleman?
