What can I buy, or do, to make my emachines desktop work with the ◦Intel® Core™2 Duo E8400 Processor?

My desktop is an emachines ET1831-01. Origonal! the stuff wasnt messed with on the inside! somebody told me i need a processor under 800 FSB. Idont know if this is true or not, thats why i am asking this because this processor is 1333FSB. Do I have to do something?
