I have a Advent Roma 1000 laptop and I recently got the win7 2011 virus so i set my computer up in safe mode and downloaded malware bytes as i was instructed and it worked, it got rid of the virus. But the next day when i logged on to my laptop it just came on with a black screen instead of my desktop. So i then decided to do a full destructive restore and as it was in the process of this it failed and now i have nothing on my laptop and am unsure of what to do?

Cycle length after birth control?

OK I stopped birth control in late May. I started keeping track of my cycles in July. I had a 53 day cycle, then a 47 day cycle, then a 38 day cycle, then a 34 day, then two 31 day cycles in a row. 31 days is the length of my normal cycle, so I was pumped thinking it was back on track. So fallowing my 31 day cycle I expected my period on March 7 but it hasnt come yet. I used ovulation strips several times, and they are always postive around day 14, which would have been Feb 18. Is it normal for a cycle to get longer after steadily growing shorter and then being normal for two cycles?? I dont know whether to think I could be pregnant or to think my cycle is just being wierd........

While it's not likely that the kitchen/porch lights are on a GFI, it's entirely possible that the bathroom and part of the kitchen (the lights)are on one circuit, especially if they are adjoining rooms. The bathroom outlet could be GFI protected and that would affect the kitchen light if it's tripped. If there is no tripped GFI go back to the service entrance. The breakers should be labeled but if not you can find the one that serves the culprit circuit by the process of elimination. Turn them off one by one and note which circuit goes dead. The one you turn off that doesn't affect any other part of the house is the one you need to trouble shoot. Circuit breakers and GFI's do go bad occasionally.

I don't think the Vancouver show will be as crazy (we're expecting 100,000+ for the Pasadena show), but I'd plan on getting there a good three hours early. I want to get a suspension lift with an SYE, so I won't have to buy a new driveshaft every 4 years. I want to put 33" tires on the truck (which will fit after I put the 4.5-6" lift on it, and I might cut off the fender trim and replace that as well). I will also put on a brush guard with a winch, a light bar, a trailer hitch (possibly with the tow-hook attachment), a snorkel intake (which will not always be in use) and a stack exhaust, skid plates, rocker panels AND rocker bars, possibly roll bars (they go inside the back half of the vehicle), new speakers and amps, and a new interior (I might even get new seats with 6-point restraints) with a lot of rubber and other waterproof material. At this point, the car will already look entirely like a redneck truck, so I might even put a 48" longhorn rack and skull on the hood of my car. There is also a chance that I will put a cowcatcher on the front (I would alternate between the cowcatcher and the brush guard) for look as well as for aerodynamics and in case I ever hit a deer or anything. I need to know if there is anything else I should put on it, either for offroading and wading across streams, or for the 'redneck' look (I live in what recently was the second-richest county in the nation, second only to Orange County, California, so I am not actually a redneck; I just want my car to look as redneck as possible, both as a joke and to attract attention.)

Help, my bra bands are riding up from the backside?

I have been trying on a 36C bra and my bands are riding up from the backside. I'm trying to push the straps up from front to to my shoulders and behind but it's making the cups too tight and makes the back band tight and it rides up as well. I've tried pushing the straps down as most as I can from the front and it frees up my cups comfortably but the back band still rides up and it's visible. It's only improving if I tighten up the hooks that keeps the band together on the backside. But, even in this position the front hook that keeps the cups together from the front doesn't stay on my skin but 1 inch away from it. Does that mean I should go for a bigger cup like from 36C to 36D or something else ?

If your portion size is larger, it may take longer, but setting it out on the counter is a huge no-no, and I've been there with the microwave situation. Although, I do find that flattening out your meat is helpful upon thawing, smaller portions upon freezing will help as well. Setting your protein in a bowl of warm water changes the temperature too rapidly, and will make the blood in your beef turn slightly brown or black, freaking most people out. Plus, it's just not safe, in my opinion, altering the temperature so drastically. A little planning ahead, just a day or so, can alleviate you or worrying about the safety of your food.
