What should i do.two jobs .one is being called back from a lay off the other is totally new.?

was laid off for most of the winter.second time called back.but its close to home,and i already have benefits and if i get laid off in the future i can collect.but the other is further away and is bran new.start over.don't how i will fit in or how well i will do at it.but think i will be safe from lay offs .witch one.or how don't i burn my britches at old job and try the new one to see if i like it better.
