Why is "The Merchant of Venice" by Shakespeare lucky?

My English teacher told me Macbeth is known as an unlucky play but The Merchant of Venice is considered lucky and that by quoting MoV it can bring good luck. She also offered extra credit if we could tell her way MoV is considered lucky. Please if anyone knows tell me! Thanks!
